february favourites

what I have been loving in february..

1. lots of new films

I have just really enjoyed watching new films this month. Most of these aren't new out but they are new to me. I am not always in the mood to sit down and watch something new, as I like to watch things at the same time as getting other things done. However this month I have watched a fair few... and these are my favourites..,

TESTAMENT OF YOUTH (2014)

I will also mention THE REVENANT (2016) ... I thought it was stunning in the way it was filmed and the cinematography. The costumes were spot on and the acting was incredible, however I really did not enjoy it as a film. For me it was a little too drawn out for how intense and dark it was, but never the less an admirable piece of film making.

2. collage

as you might have seen, I have been loving doing some collage this month and there are two blog posts you can look at to see what I ended up with :)

3. blogging

I am completely new at this, and still very rusty and nervous about it all, but I am also really enjoying it. The main push at the moment is to get me back into costume and it is really helping.

4. ink

I am just obsessed with ink at the moment... I am sure I will be posting a lot more about this, so watch this space. My go-to ink is quink ink as it is lovely easy to use and dries really nicely.

and last but not least...

5. war and peace

Just epic and wonderful and beautiful and it has immediately made it into my top tv series. The BBC have done it again and it is amazing. I am not going to write too much about it here, because I am going to do a post about my favourite tv costume dramas... but I couldn't resist putting it in! I did watch all six episodes in one sitting :)
