knots and weaves
Hello and welcome to day 4 of A MONTH OF TEXTILES...
Yesterday I sat down to do some printing and I had no inspiration at all so I decided to grab some fabric and some scissors and see what I could create. I had so much fun just knotting the fabric and weaving it together and I think the final results are really exciting and a new way of working for me. As I was creating these samples I was thinking of costume and of my work that I am developing based on the Tempest and creating wearable textiles. I hope you like them and I look forward to showing you how these progress.
