smocking

Hello!!

Yesterday I was meant to do some tea dyeing. I did some tea dyeing and some coffee dyeing and it was so boring. So I decided to do some smocking instead. I have never tried this before and I have found out that I am not very good at it. I think the actual technique (when done properly) is stunning and I love all the different patterns and variations, however for the sake of learning I only learnt the one pattern. I kept it really simple and here is what happened:
