rust and tea

Hello Everybody!

A MONTH OF TEXTILES DAY 11!!

This technique was sort of an accident. I did some tea dyeing and although I loved the colours it created I didn't think it was worth a whole post as the results were sort of boring. However I have also had some metal bits and bobs rusting on fabric for a few days and yesterday I dried them and had a look. I think all together these samples create a really nice colour palette and some fun textures. Have a look and let me know what you think!
