salty things

Hello everyone,

It is day 13 of A MONTH OF TEXTILES...

This is a really easy technique. I just piled fabric with dye and salt and left it for a while. The salt picks up a lot of the dye and creates some really cool colours. I have found that this way the colours are a lot stronger and they don't merge to create that murky colour. I hope you enjoy the photos.
